Rhoades, who has gained a national following through his appearances on television talk shows, has published "Living in the Moment", a little book about big pivotal moments. The new pocket-size book, available online through his cyber office at www.greatstuff.com, is a collection of short commentaries that detail more than fifty of Dr. Rhoades’ personal breakthroughs. He begins each commentary with a well known quotation that touches on a core belief and then describes a situation that triggered his own flash of insight on the subject. Each commentary ends with a "twist" in the form of a quote of Dr. Rhoades’ own that conveys his new understanding.
Dr. Rhoades stated, “We all have ‘Ah Ha’ moments in our lives when the light dawns and we suddenly see things in a new way. "Living in the Moment" chronicles breakthrough moments that have occurred throughout my life. I hope readers will find them eye-opening, too.”
In addition to his guest appearances on television shows including Oprah, The View, and Montel, Dr. Rhoades is a frequent contributor to popular magazines on such subjects as dating, breakup recovery, and infidelity. He has a Master's Degree in Religious Education with an emphasis on Marriage and Family from New Orleans Baptist Seminary, and a Doctorate Degree in Ministry with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling from the Graduate Theological Foundation.
